Exciting News!!! Lee’s Healthy Cooking Classes will begin this Spring, 2012
The Newlins have moved to their new farm, Peaceful River Farm in Chapel Hill, NC and have a brand new classroom. I hope you can join us for a morning filled with inspiration, information and great tasting and nutritional food.

Spring Class Schedule 2012 – Each class will be different using seasonal produce

Each class will include seasonal produce recipes, tons of information about the health benefits of the different foods and techniques used, and lots of connection and great tasting food. Whether you’re just beginning to improve your food choices or are far along in your journey, these workshops will give you the inspiration, the motivation, and the tools to cook healthy and stay healthy!

Cost is $50 per person. The 3 hour classes will include:

- a tour of the market and kitchen gardens by Larry Newlin, owner of Peaceful River Farm
- sharing of Lee’s expertise in the health benefits of the different foods and cooking techniques. Additionally, you’ll receive great tips for purchasing, storing, and preparing a wide variety of nutrient-dense foods.
- a tasting of all of the dishes demonstrated and a delightful beverage prepared during class
- recipes and informational handouts that will be sent to you via email after class
- a bag full of Peaceful River Farm sustainably grown produce to take home to make your own creations!

Payment in advance is required and there are no refunds. If you are unable to make it to class and your seat can be filled from the wait-list, I will gladly refund your money. If I can not fill your seat, you can send a substitute to take your place.

Class size will be 30 students so don’t “chew” on your decision too long…class will be filling up quickly!

About the classes

Classes will be taught by Lee Newlin at their 18 acre serene, sustainable produce farm in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, on the Haw River. You will receive driving directions once you are registered for class.

Lee’s classes focus on cooking delicious meals with a healthy twist including a demonstration, sustainable vegetable farm tour, cooking tips, sampling, and copies of each recipe electronically. Learn easy to follow step-by-step healthy cooking techniques that you can use at home. Come with a friend or family member or simply enjoy the company of like-minded individuals in a welcoming and inspirational setting.
